Veteran actor Parikshit Sahni, known for his roles in films like PK and 3 Idiots, shared an anecdote about working alongside Aamir Khan. Recalling a scene in Rajkumar Hirani's film PK, Sahni mentioned a sequence where he had to slap Aamir. Initially opting for a fake slap, Sahni was surprised when the Dhoom 3 star insisted on a genuine one. Despite hesitations, Sahni had to genuinely slap Mr Perfectionist as per the scene requirements. During an interview with Rajshri Unplugged, Sahni praised Aamir's acting prowess, stating, "Aamir is a fantastic actor, I really like him." He continued by emphasizing his commitment to the scene, saying, "The credit goes to him. The first time I hit him, he stopped and said, 'You really hit me.' Very few actors do this. He is a great actor. He is a very, very great actor. That is because he knows the script very well." The film also starred Anushka Sharma and the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Sahni also expressed admiration for Aamir Khan's film Taare Zameen Par, mentioning how it moved him to tears. Reflecting on the movie, he remarked, "His film Taare Zameen Par made me cry. It was a beautiful film. So well-directed. So well written. And to work with children is the most difficult thing."


Regarding Aamir's recent work, his last appearance was in Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan. Following a cold response to the movie at the box office, the actor announced a break from films. As of now, he has not yet announced his next project.
